TAMPA BAY, Fla. and AUSTIN, Texas, March 18, 2015 /CNW/ -- At Tampa Bay Water, nothing is more important than providing reliable and safe drinking water to the citizens of its member governments. To help achieve that goal, Tampa Bay Water has selected Aurigo Masterworks as its capital program management software system.
Tampa Bay Water, an agency created by the State of Florida to provide wholesale water to New Port Richey, St. Petersburg, Tampa, Hillsborough County, Pasco County and Pinellas County, delivers an average of 171 million gallons of water per day to 2.3 million citizens.
There are typically 40 to 70 individual capital projects in Tampa Bay Water's five-year Capital Improvement Program in various stages of planning, design and construction. Aurigo Masterworks will replace the agency's legacy project management system and database that was built in-house, and integrate with Tampa Bay Water's current tools Microsoft Office and financial system Tyler Technologies MUNIS.
"We searched for a solution that would improve our reporting capabilities, cash flow analysis and document storage," said Maribel Medina, Senior Professional Engineer at Tampa Bay Water. "We also needed an integrated system to help reduce data entry errors from using multiple programs."
Aurigo Masterworks' integration capabilities are designed to suit capital project owners' unique needs. Project managers can mix-and-match Planning and Forecasting, Estimation and Bidding, Project Management, Property Management, Document Control and Collaboration, and Mobile Inspection modules for improved program visibility and project delivery.
"As the leader in capital project management software, we have been transforming hundreds of customer's capital project lifecycles using our fully-integrated solution, and look forward to doing the same for Tampa Bay Water," said Balaji Sreenivasan, CEO of Aurigo Software Inc.
