    MTag and the launch of mobiletag

    Established in France, MTag is a leading software developer specializing
in mobile handset software solutions. In 2006, the company launched mobiletag,
an embedded software application that enables mobile phones to read 2D
barcodes, otherwise known as tags, simply by using the phone's camera.
    When a user shoots or captures a tag, they are automatically redirected
to content, information, or a service using the Operator's Internet
connection. The software was developed to create quick access to external
content (print media, television, transit ads) - bringing otherwise fixed

    mobiletag's 2D barcode specification has been retained by major European
Mobile Operators, including the Orange and Vodafone Groups and is compatible
with all main platforms (Windows Mobile, iPhone, Java, Android, Symbian,
Blackberry and Brew). Additionally, recent partnerships have included a launch
with Gillette in Spain, Pages Jaunes (French Yellow Pages) and Universal Music
