CWF's WILD magazine for kids receives prestigious 2012 Parents' Choice Recommended Award

OTTAWA, March 9, 2012 /CNW/ - Now in its sweet 16^th year, the Canadian Wildlife Federation's WILD magazine, for youth ages 5 to 14, is the recipient of a prestigious 2012 Parents' Choice Recommended Award.

WILD received the award from the U.S.-based Parents' Choice Foundation, America's oldest nonprofit consumer guide to quality children's media.

"WILD is an established and fun resource for kids interested in walking on the wildlife side," notes Don Oldenburg, a former consumer columnist at The Washington Post who reviewed the magazine for the Parents' Choice Foundation.
