Forest fires in Northern Quebec continue to disrupt VIA's service between Montreal and Senneterre

    MONTREAL, May 29 /CNW Telbec/ - VIA Rail Canada is advising passengers
that due to forest fires that have been sweeping through Northern Quebec, its
trains operating between Montreal and Senneterre continue to be affected.
    As a result, train 603, on May 30th, from Montreal to Senneterre, will
terminate in La Tuque.
    Train 604, on May 31st, from Senneterre to Montreal, will originate from
La Tuque, instead of Senneterre.
    No alternate transportation for passengers travelling between La Tuque
and Senneterre has been arranged.
    No other VIA service is affected by this situation.
