The Seventh Annual CIMA Mayor's Trophy successfully completed
TORONTO, June 28, 2011 /CNW/ - Harold Baird, the President of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK and Gulzari Babber, the Deputy President, traveled to Toronto to join Toronto Mayor Ford and MPP Christine Elliott at the successfully concluded CIMA Mayor's Trophy. Large crowds from Toronto's diverse communities attended the seventh annual CIMA Mayor's Trophy held on June 25, 2011 at the Sunnybrook Park in Toronto. The Canadian branch of CIMA organizes CIMA Mayor's Trophy in partnership with the Access & Diversity Unit of the Parks, Forestry & Recreation Toronto to promote, showcase and celebrate the game of cricket that bring Toronto's vastly diverse communities together.

The Toronto Police Cricket team won the 2011 Mayor's Trophy beating the CIBC cricket team in the finals. The reigning CIMA media champions Metro News cricket team beat Toronto Star cricket team to retain the CIMA media cricket championship.
