MONTREAL, Nov. 12 /CNW Telbec/ - Given the overwhelming response to its
activities in Montréal, the Consultation Commission on Accommodation Practices
Related to Cultural Differences (CCPARDC) will hold two additional citizens'
forums in mid-December at the Montréal Convention Centre. Over 1000
individuals have registered for the forums and registration is now closed.

(additional session)Hearings in the Montréal administrative region will be held at the Palais
des congrès from Monday, November 26 to Friday, November 30, along with
province-wide hearings from Monday, December 10 to Friday, December 14, 2007.
In both instances, individuals may attend the hearings but may no longer
register to present a brief or to testify.
The Commission
The CCAPRCD, co-chaired by sociologist and historian Gérard Bouchard and
philosopher Charles Taylor, has been asked to take stock of accommodation
practices and analyse all facets of the question by conducting a province-wide
public consultation. The Commission will submit a report and make
recommendations to the Québec Premier on March 31, 2008.
