Clean Freaks On Patrol At Health Minister's BBQ

TORONTO, Aug. 18 /CNW/ - The Clean Freak Patrol will be out "spreading
the word, not germs" this weekend.
This Saturday, the Clean Freak Patrol is introducing a fun new way to
improve kids' hygiene at Ontario Health Minister George Smitherman's Community
BBQ.
The Clean Freak Patrol includes four lovable cartoon characters who make
hand-washing fun for kids using music, animation, online games, comic books, a
talking web site, contests, and more.
"Hand washing is the best way to prevent the spread of all flu viruses,"
says Michael Morris, President of Clean Freak Patrol Ltd. "Kids are receptive
to cartoon characters, making them great advocates for the cause."
A national public awareness campaign is currently underway, including
outdoor billboards, television ads, an interactive website
www.CleanFreakPatrol.com and special kid-friendly hygiene products exclusively
at Shoppers Drug Mart featuring the Clean Freak Patrol cartoon characters and
their message: "Spread the word, not the germs."
Meet the Clean Freak Patrol characters in person at Minister Smitherman's
Community BBQ this Saturday, August 18, 2007. Enjoy free family fun at the
Allan Gardens Park (Carlton and Sherbourne St.) rain or shine from noon to
3pm.

Clean Freak Patrol Ltd. is a cause-related marketing company, whose
mandate is finding fun solutions to serious problems. A portion of all sales
of the CLEAN FREAK PATROL(TM) brand is donated to charity.
