OTTAWA, Jan. 30 /CNW Telbec/ - Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) is holding
its Annual Policy Conference in Ottawa on February 5, 2009 at the Fairmont
Château Laurier and would like to extend an invitation to media. During this
year's conference, in which DFC celebrates 75 years of existence, dairy
producers will have the opportunity to hear from a number of experts on issues
such as negotiations at the World Trade Organization, the new farmed animal
health strategy, the carbon footprint of the dairy industry and consumers'
perspectives of food and agriculture policies. Farmers will discuss their
