TORONTO, Nov. 25 /CNW/ - Humber College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning will hold a grand opening ceremony for the newly completed Centre for Justice Leadership.
The Centre for Justice Leadership offers the latest technology-based learning environment for crime scene and criminal investigation along with justice leadership and conflict resolution training. Home to Humber's new four-year Criminal Justice Degree, Police Foundations and Community & Justice programs, the 18,000 square foot "CSI" Centre features a crime scene investigation studio, an evidence processing studio, interview rooms and state-of-the-art forensic equipment. The Centre will also be used by professional law enforcement officers seeking to upgrade their skills and field training.
Partial funding for this project is being provided by the Government of Canada's Knowledge Infrastructure Program and through the Ontario Government's 2009 Budget.
