affordable housing and homelessness last week, the Federation of Canadian
Municipalities (FCM) will release its National Action Plan on Housing and
Homelessness at a news conference Jan. 23 in Vancouver, B.C., at
10:15 a.m. PST.

The report will be released by the co-chairs of the FCM Big City Mayors'
Caucus working group on housing, Mayors Sam Sullivan of Vancouver and
Anne Marie DeCicco-Best of London, Ont.. The mayors will be joined by FCM
President, Councillor Gord Steeves, and Councillor Giorgio Mammoliti of
Toronto, the co-chair of the Canadian Municipal Housing Action Network.
A technical briefing for news media will take place from 9:15 a.m. to
10:15 a.m. PST, led by Steve Pomeroy, the report's author, and FCM staff in
the Shaughnessy II Room of the Mariott Pinnacle Hotel. The Action Plan will be
posted on the FCM website (www.fcm.ca) at 9:00 a.m. PST.
