MONTREAL, April 16 /CNW Telbec/ - Golden Goose Resources Inc.
(TSX-V: GGR) (the "Company") is reporting additional results from the 2008
winter drilling program at its Lac Levac nickel project. The property, which
is accessible by road and less than 4 km from Hydro-Quebec's Albanel
substation, is wholly-owned by Golden Goose and lies 35 km east from the
Nemiscau airport and 216 km north of Chibougamau in the James Bay area of
northern Quebec.
The Lac Levac mineralized zone is part of a 4 km long by 300 m wide
magnetic geophysical anomaly. The mineralized zone is composed of massive to
disseminated sulphides in an ultramafic rock identified as a serpentinized
peridotite.
Highlights of the latest drill results include 5.5 metres of 1.22% nickel
and 0.75% copper in Hole 53-08 and 6.5 metres of 1.02% nickel and 0.77% copper
at a true vertical depth of 330 metres in Hole 57-08, both in the eastern
extension.
"These additional results complete the data required to update our
resource estimate for the NISK-1 anomaly," said Jean-Marc Lacoste, President
of Golden Goose. "The Fall 2007 and Winter 2008 drilling returned very
exciting results in terms of grade and zone continuity, and we are looking
forward to seeing how this reflects in the new 43-101 estimate, due out in the
next couple of weeks. Combined with metallurgical testing currently underway,
the resource estimate should provide us with a good roadmap for exploration of
the Lac Levac project in the coming months."

(1) The zone was extended to include a zone of high copper grades.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Holes 01-07, 02-07, 03-07 were drilled on the "C" anomaly and showed no
significant mineralization.
Holes 11-07 and 14-07 were cancelled.
Holes 12-07, 18-07, 20-07 and 21-07 showed no significant mineralization.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Analyses were done by Accurassay Laboratories, Thunder Bay, Ontario. All
samples are tested using a full scan ICP following an Aqua-Regia
digestion. Ore grade samples are then reanalyzed by atomic absorption.
Pt and Pd are tested by Fire Assay using lead collection.

The NISK-1 anomaly remains open at depth and along strike in both
directions. A resource estimate dated July 2007 showed an indicated resource
of 516,000 tonnes at 0.89% nickel, 0.39% copper, 0.06% cobalt, 0.79 g/t
palladium and 0.14 g/t platinum and an inferred resource of 734,000 tonnes at
0.89% nickel, 0.34% copper, 0.06% cobalt, 0.77 g/t palladium and 0.14 g/t
platinum.
The Lac Levac drilling programs are planned and supervised by Marc-Antoine
Beaupré, a geological engineer and the qualified person as defined by National
Instrument 43-101. He has approved the contents of this press release.
(*) Previously called the INCO anomaly. Golden Goose has decided to
assign Cree names to the Lac Levac anomalies; "nisk" means, "goose"
in Cree.ABOUT GOLDEN GOOSE RESOURCES
