Eden Textile to launch first Design Center with Exclusive access for
Interior DesignersEDMONTON, Dec. 1 /CNW/ - Eden Textile has announced that Edmonton will
soon be home to the first location of an innovative design concept developed
exclusively for interior designers working in residential and hospitality
design. The new design facility is named Candeo - a term that embodies the
quality, elegance and style that has been associated with Eden Textile. Once
the center is completed it will be the largest facility of its kind in Canada,
with over 10,000 square-feet of design materials available to designers only.
The inspiration behind Candeo is to offer the North American design
community access to high quality design elements including fabrics and soft
furnishings. The design center will feature workstations and access design
technology, along with hundreds of textile samples ranging from exotic silks
to basic cottons.
Candeo is the latest expansion for Eden, an international textile leader
committed to eco conscious business practices. According to Mike Wilson, Eden
Textile CEO, "We came up with this concept because we work closely with
designers and we identified the need for having a single space that would not
only provide access to some of the best fabrics and furnishings in the world,
but also serve as a time saving solution for design."
The Candeo design center will launch in early 2009.
