bisphenol A (BPA), it was announced by Rosemont, Illinois-based World Kitchen,
LLC, which is licensed by Corning Incorporated, Corning, New York, to
manufacture and distribute PYREX products in North America.
All PYREX plastic lids are made from a proprietary elastomer compound
that is free of BPA, a chemical compound that was the subject of a recent risk
assessment by Health Canada.

Versatile PYREX glassware is an ideal medium in the kitchen. Non-porous,
