Steven Shrybman report to put microscope on Liberal legislation covering
the TILMA
VICTORIA, May 16 /CNW/ - Nationally-known trade and public interest
litigation expert Steven Shrybman will hold a press conference on Wednesday
(May 21) in the provincial capital to shed light on constitutional aspects of
the Trade, Investment and Labour Mobility Agreement (TILMA), which the BC
Liberal government is trying to push through the Legislature this month.
Shrybman has produced a legal opinion on Bill 32 - the Trade, Investment
and Labour Mobility Agreement Implementation Act. Copies of his report,
commissioned by CUPE BC, will be available at the press conference.
Shrybman will be accompanied by CUPE BC president Barry O'Neill. Both
