Arbor Memorial Services Inc. Announces Its Quarterly Dividends

    Arbor Memorial Services Inc. announced today its quarterly dividends for
    the three and nine months ended July 31, 2008

    TSX ABO.A and ABO.B

    TORONTO, Aug. 28 /CNW/ - ARBOR MEMORIAL SERVICES INC. today announced
that the Board of Directors amended the Company's dividend policy and will now
declare quarterly cash dividends of $0.11 per share. The first quarterly
dividend will be paid on September 29, 2008 to shareholders of Class A and B
shares of record as at September 15, 2008.
    The dividend is designated as an "eligible" dividend for the purpose of
the Income Tax Act (Canada).

    Arbor Memorial Services Inc. owns 41 cemeteries, 27 crematoria,
4 reception centres located on cemetery premises, and 88 funeral homes in
eight provinces of Canada.
