CPI Plastics Group Limited is granted filing extension by OSC

announced today that the Ontario Securities Commission has granted a
compliance extension to the Corporation for the third quarter and it now has
until December 8, 2008 to file its financial statements and MD& A. The
Corporation intends to complete its filing on or before that date.
