Sun-Rype names new Chief Financial Officer

KELOWNA, BC, Jan. 4, 2013 /CNW/ - Dave McAnerney, President & CEO of Sun-Rype Products Ltd., is pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda Burns, CA, CPA (Oklahoma), as the new Chief Financial Officer for the company, effective immediately.

Mrs. Burns is a Chartered Accountant with over ten years of experience in financial reporting, treasury, audit and risk management.  She started with Sun-Rype in July 2012 as Finance & Accounting Manager and has acted as interim Chief Financial Officer for the company since September 2012.  Before joining Sun-Rype, Mrs. Burns held several senior financial positions, most recently as Controller for Syntroleum Corporation in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
