MONTREAL, May 19 /CNW Telbec/ - A number of Ville de Montréal facilities
will remain open during the Victoria Day holiday, while others will
have a specific schedule.
Most city offices will be closed on Monday, May 23, 2011, including all
borough and Accès Montréal offices. Residents are asked to consult the
borough Web sites via at the main city portal at ville.montreal.qc.ca, or, call 311 or 514 872-0311 for more information on what services are
Household garbage, recycling and bulky item pickup
All pickups will take place according to regular schedules, except for
the pickup of bulky items in the Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie and
Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension boroughs, which will not take
place on Monday 23.
Monday green collections are postponed and will take place on Tuesday,
May 24 for the area located east of Décarie Boulevard, between the
Laurentian and Metropolitan expressways, in the Saint-Laurent borough.
All ecocentres will remain open according to the usual schedule. For

Sports and cultural facilities
Arenas, swimming pools, sports centres, libraries and cultural centres
will follow different schedules depending on the borough. Residents are
asked to contact those facilities, or check the schedules on the Web.
The Complexe sportif Claude-Robillard will be closed, except for the
