Food Network star Anna Olson joins in the search for the Real Women of Philadelphia

home cooks to pursue their passion at a national level. Food Network
star Anna Olson and Philadelphia Cream Cheese have teamed up to search for Canada's next big cooking
stars in the Real Women of Philadelphia casting call. It's a unique opportunity for passionate home cooks to
share how they bring their everyday dishes to life with Philly. The reward? An exciting role with Philadelphia Cream Cheese and $20,000 - not to mention national recognition through
online cooking videos, contributing to an online cookbook and more!
Starting today, April 4, home cooks can visit www.realwomeanofphiladelphia.ca to join the Real Women of Philadelphia community. Then, beginning on April 11, they can send in their video
and recipe submission auditions, based on selected weekly themes. Each
week, entrants will be asked to showcase how they use Philly in their favourite dishes - whether it's their secret ingredient for
smooth mashed potatoes or the ultimate addition to perfect creamy pasta
sauce. Chef Anna Olson is joining the fun too, and will post weekly
videos sharing how she prepares her favourite recipes with the
community, along with tips and tricks to refresh meal ideas.
"Every great recipe has a go-to ingredient that provides a special touch
and creates a signature flavour. It's sometimes that one, unexpected
addition that can really transform a traditional dish," said Anna
Olson. "Canadians are constantly creating new dishes in their kitchens
and gaining notoriety among family and friends for their expertise. The
Real Women of Philadelphia celebrates this and gives these talented home cooks the chance to turn
something they love doing into a rewarding opportunity."

Based on their video auditions and recipe submissions, 16 finalists will
be invited to a live event and cook-off with Anna in Toronto this
summer. Each contestant's recipe will be judged by Anna and an esteemed
panel of judges to determine the four finalists who will be named the Real Women of Philadelphia - winning the $20,000 and a role in hosting their own cooking videos
for six months on www.realwomenofphiladelphia.ca. In addition, these four finalists will get the chance to contribute to
an online cookbook highlighting the community's recipes.
