Tourisme Montréal wins Créa award for online advertising

MONTREAL, April 1 /CNW Telbec/ - At the 6th Créa Awards ceremony held yesterday evening at the Taz in Montréal, the Grand Créa award for best online campaign was given to Sid Lee and Tourisme Montréal for the "Queer of the Year" campaign launched in summer 2010. Some 1,500 people attended the event, organized by Infopresse in collaboration with the Association des agences de publicité du Québec, which recognizes the best in Québec advertising. Michel De Lauw presided over this year's Créa jury, made up of 10 members.

The "Queer of the Year" campaign had already won the grand prize at the Boomerang Awards last fall. The Tourisme Montréal team would like once again to thank Sid Lee for its complicity and determination in leading Tourisme Montréal's advertising projects, as well as for its involvement in the successful execution of communication strategies.

Tourisme Montréal is responsible for providing leadership in the concerted efforts of hospitality and promotion in order to position the destination on leisure and business travel markets. It is also responsible for developing Montréal's tourism product in accordance with the ever-changing conditions of the market.
