Tourisme Montréal chooses Touché! PHD as its new media placement agency

MONTREAL, Sept. 14, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - Following its call to tender for a media placement agency, Tourisme Montréal is pleased to announce the nomination of Touché! PHD as its new supplier. For this important mandate, Tourisme Montréal was looking to enlist the services of a firm that would ensure the most effective media placement for this tourist destination.

Tourisme Montréal, a private, non-profit organization, is always looking for new and better ways to develop and improve their methods to attract tourist clienteles to visit Montréal. "The tourist destination environment is extremely competitive, which is why it was necessary for us to choose an agency known for its superior media strategy and a team who deftly navigates through the sea of emerging media tools," stated the Honourable Charles Lapointe, President and CEO of Tourisme Montréal. "The Touché! PHD agency clearly demonstrated that not only does it personify this vision, but that its dynamic team would exceed the expectations of our organization," concluded Charles Lapointe.

The Touché! PHD mandate will encompass media strategy and planning, buying and placement on all communication channels. As the newly-appointed media agency, Touché! PHD will work closely with SidLee, the agency responsible for the Tourisme Montréal brand.
