TORONTO WELCOMES THE COUNTRY'S BRIGHTEST YOUNG MINDS AND TOP BUSINESS LEADERS TO HELP CREATE A BETTER CANADA

National Exposition to connect and inspire top executives, entrepreneurs and future leaders

TORONTO, May 9 /CNW/ - Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship (ACE) is holding their annual National Exposition in Toronto at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from May 9 to 11, 2011. The event will welcome upwards of 1,000 delegates including the country's brightest university and college students, academic professionals and top Canadian CEOs.

Throughout the three-day event, post-secondary students from over 45 universities and colleges from every province across Canada will compete for prestigious national champion titles by showcasing their economic outreach projects and entrepreneurial achievements to judging panels composed of top Canadian executives. The SIFE National Champion will move on to the international level of competition - the SIFE World Cup - taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from October 3 to 5, 2011.

The final round of competition on Wednesday, May 11 will be observed by hundreds of delegates and guests, and will be judged by over 30 top Canadian CEOs, including: Peter Brown (Managing Partner of Deloitte), Rod Sturtridge (President of Carleton Cards) and Mike Cook (Managing Partner of IBM).

Event highlights include an inspiring and energetic opening ceremony on Monday, May 9 to officially kick off the event, as well as a final round of competition, awards ceremony and reception on Wednesday, May 11 to announce the 2011 National Champions. The ACE National Exposition provides an exclusive opportunity for leading Canadian executives to inspire and in turn, be inspired, by acting as lead judges for the event competitions.
