MONTRÉAL, May 10 /CNW/ - Have you ever wondered how top grocery stores, chefs, food and beverage experts and food buyers
from across Canada decide what will be new on store shelves and menus?
Find out on May 11-13 at SIAL Canada, when food and ingredients from
more than 40 countries go on display at the largest international food
show in North America, being held for the first time in Toronto at the
Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
SIAL Show Hours
Wednesday, May 11 - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday, May 12 - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday, May 13 - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Media tours including sampling of some of the Trends & Innovation Award and Golden Olive (Olive d'Or) competition winners or interviews with event spokespeople, will be arranged
throughout the show by contacting PraxisPR or visiting the event's
press booth located in the main foyer (inside the Front Street

On opening day, Wednesday May 11, media are invited to take part in the show in the following ways:
7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.: Coffee Cup by SIAL Competition to taste-test and select the international coffee competition winner.
10 a.m.: The SIAL Canada Show opens. Media tours provided and interviews with vendors and award-winners will
2 p.m.: SIAL Canada opening ceremony, next door to the convention
centre at the Intercontinental Hotel on Front Street West, in the
Caledon room. Key international officials and exhibitor delegates are expected to
attend. Dignitaries from Italy, Canada and SIAL Canada are expected to
3 p.m.: Guided one-hour media tour of SIAL Canada including
taste-testing of award-winning products. Meet at the Media desk in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre lobby.
