TORONTO, Feb. 22 /CNW/ - They've all run the race before, and 2.66 million viewers tuned in to
see how some of their favourite teams would fare during Sunday night's
season premiere of THE AMAZING RACE: UNFINISHED BUSINESS on CTV. Airing for the first time in HD, the series grew 14% among total viewers compared to last winter's season average on
CTV. The premiere also delivered double digit growth in all key demos:
+34% (A18-34), +23% (A18-49), and +29% (A25-54). With a reach of 4.67

In Sunday's premiere episode "Head Down and Hold On," 11 teams set out
from Palm Springs, California before heading to Sydney, Australia. The
teams didn't get off to an easy start as one group got an automatic
U-Turn forcing them to complete both elements of the first Detour they
faced, and everyone had to brave a shark tank to obtain a clue. With
cowboys Jet and Cord in last place, the remaining 10 teams were told to
keep racing after checking in at Shelly Beach.
In next week's new episode of THE AMAZING RACE: UNFINISHED BUSINESS, airing at a special time of 7 p.m. ET on CTV on Sunday, February 27, the teams continue to out race each other in Manly, Australia.
New episodes of THE AMAZING RACE: UNFINISHED BUSINESS are also available on demand the day following their television
broadcast on the CTV Video Player at CTV.ca.
