Tea Party Takeover of PCs Continues

Question:  When is a Canadian citizen dismissed as just a "foreign worker"?
Answer:   After Tim Hudak falls in the polls and the Tea Party takes over.

TORONTO, Sept. 8, 2011 /CNW/ -

Fact: While the Liberal plan only applies to highly skilled Canadian citizens, trained elsewhere already living in Ontario for under 5 years, the PCs have irresponsibly and intentionally stoked xenophobic fears by labelling these Canadians as "foreign workers" who have descended on the province to "steal" your job.

PC candidates and organizers are following Hudak's ugly lead:

"People who come from other countries, I guess I call them foreigners."

  • Randall Denley, PC Candidate, Ottawa Citizen, September 8 2011

"Some people could lose their jobs and be replaced," he said. "That's something that we really will be opposing. We'll be focusing on our own people here getting jobs."

  • Alan Wilson, PC Candidate Peterborough, Peterborough Examiner, September 8 2011

"Hire a foreigner instead of your neighbour"

  • @team_hudak, An official twitter account of the PC campaign, September 6, 2011

"Too bad it's not for you… 10,000 only for FOREIGN workers.  Ontario workers need not apply. You just get the bill."

  • Official PC youtube commercial

Canadian Citizens are NOT "foreign workers".
