Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) is proud to highlight the achievements of
eight of its members at the 53rd Grammy Awards.
"SOCAN congratulates the members of Arcade Fire, a collective that shows
how to blend success with unfettered creative freedom," said Eric

Bublé and all of our members who were nominated for Grammy Awards this

SOCAN members who received awards this year include:
Arcade Fire (Win Butler, William Butler, Régine Chassagne, Jeremy Gara, Tim Kingsbury, Sarah Neufeld, Richard Parry) - Album of the Year (for The Suburbs); and
Michael Bublé - Traditional Pop Vocal Album (for Crazy Love).

Drake - New Artist, Solo Rap Performance (for "Over"), Rap Performance by a
Duo or Group (for "Fancy", recorded with T.I. & Swiss Beatz), Rap Album
(for Thank Me Later)
Melanie Fiona - Rap/Sung Collaboration (for "Wake Up! Everybody", recorded with John
Legend, The Roots, and Common)
Marc-André Hamelin - Instrumental Soloist Performance (without Orchestra) (for Hamelin: Études)
Rush - Long Form Music Video (for Rush: Beyond The Lighted Stage)

the Canadian music industry. SOCAN administers the rights of creators.
Its role is to manage these rights on behalf of its members, as well as
those of its peer organizations internationally, by licensing the use
of their music in Canada. Revenues collected are distributed to its
members and affiliated international organizations in the form of
royalties. SOCAN also distributes royalties to its members that it
receives from affiliated international organizations for the use of
