TORONTO, Nov. 28, 2011 /CNW/ - Porter Airlines accepted two new
Bombardier* Q400* NextGen* aircraft today, bringing the company's fleet
to 26. Porter, one of the world's largest operators of Q400 aircraft,
placed the $61 million US order for the two aircraft in March 2011.
"These two aircraft will aid Porter's growth plan, give us added
operational flexibility and form an important part of our 2012
expansion," said Robert Deluce, president and CEO of Porter Airlines.
"The Q400 aircraft continues to meet our expectations for reliability
and performance. We look forward to future fleet additions."
Porter has four outstanding options for Q400 NextGen aircraft, which it
anticipates exercising within two years.
