TORONTO, Feb. 16 /CNW/ - Further to its signing of an Agreement for
Ontario production premises and capacity, Canadian Solarform will be
shipping Ontario content compliant panels on or before May 2011.
"This is the next natural step for Canadian Solarform and underscores
our long term view and commitment to the Ontario market place.", says
Steve Bellamy, VP Sales
Current capacity through its Ontario facility is expected to be in
excess of 60MW for the first year of operations. Its range of products
has also expanded with multiple cell sizes and module capacities. This
increased array of products aligns directly with the evolving customer
needs. Along with its global supply chain expertise, engineering
support, and long term experience in the PV Solar Industry, Canadian
Solarform has further secured its position as a fore runner in the
North American market place.
"All panels are not created equal. Customers need the right panel for
each installation, maximizing returns for all projects given their
specific characteristics", Bill Melnik, Chairman
The move to incorporate Ontario facilities assures compliance with
current Ontario government standards but also creates jobs
domestically. Customers benefit from this partnership having a long
term competitive supply partner for their solar projects while enjoying
the high quality standards of Solarform sourced products.
