TORONTO, Sept. 19, 2011 /CNW/ - For many Canadians, the search for
answers about finances, health and family often begins with websites or
social media networks to get advice from people who have experienced
the same issues. Sun Life Financial has joined the conversation with
the launch of BrighterLife.ca, a site that provides useful tips and tools to help consumers share
ideas about the topics that matter to them.
The BrighterLife.ca site is a starting point for Canadians looking for
real information about real life situations:
The site includes articles, blogs, videos and discussions about topics
that range from returning to work after maternity leave, to elder care
to getting your kids ready for university.
You can add to the conversation by commenting on articles, answering
poll questions, posing questions to columnists and sharing insights and
Visitors can share articles they like with others through social media
sites like Facebook and Twitter.
The site also features a series of articles and videos called "Simply
Put," which explain financial terms in easy-to-understand language.
