TORONTO, Sept. 1, 2011 /CNW/ - Mount Knowledge Inc., Toronto, a global
accelerated learning provider of English language and educational
technologies, in cooperation with Ryerson University's Center for
Learning Technologies (http://www.ryerson.ca/clt/), announced that it has been selected as one of 15 successful
applicants, with 46 project submissions, for the Applied Research and
Commercialization (ARC) Initiative funded by the Federal Economic
Development Agency for Southern Ontario. The funding will enable Mount
Knowledge to pursue additional research on its technologies with the
direct cooperation and expertise from the Centre for Learning
Technologies scientists and researchers. The main project outline is
to re-engineer the process by which students interact with the
software, as well as ensure that all current and future products meet
the inclusivity standards of Section 508 in the United States and its
counterpart in Canada, opening new and exciting distribution channels
in North America.
