Lespérance join the Board of Directors at the Institut de recherches
cliniques de Montréal (IRCM). Their appointments were confirmed earlier
this week at the annual general assembly of IRCM members.

About Monique Jérôme-Forget
An important figure on Quebec's political scene, Monique Jérôme-Forget
was a Member of the National Assembly from 1998 to 2009, and served as
Minister of Finance, Minister of Government Services, and President of
the Treasury Board. In addition, she has been Vice Rector at Concordia
University, Assistant Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare Canada,
President and CEO of the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du
travail and Chair of its related research institute.
She has been active with a number of community, cultural, medical and
educational organizations for several years. She has also been
President of the Institute for Research on Public Policy, as well as a
columnist for The Financial Post and Les Affaires. She is currently Special Advisor at Osler.
About Michel Lespérance
Lawyer and member of the Québec Bar since 1967, Michel Lespérance
pursued his career at the Université de Montréal, where he was
assistant Secretary-General, assistant to the Vice-Rector of
administration, and Secretary-General of the university. He retired in
2005 and was appointed Secretary-General Emeritus of the Université in
