Stewart Lyons recognized for outstanding contributions
as business leader and community supporter
TORONTO, April 28 /CNW/ - Mobilicity is proud to announce that its Chief
Operating Officer Stewart Lyons has been named one of Canada's Top 40
Under 40™ award recipients for 2010.
"Stewart has achieved more in the last 15 years than what others take a
lifetime to accomplish," said Dave Dobbin, president and CEO of
Mobilicity, and a former Top 40 Under 40 award recipient himself. "Much
of Mobilicity's success can be attributed to Stewart's tenacity and

As COO, Lyons, 38, oversees all major operational elements of
Mobilicity, from billing and operational support systems to Information
Technology (IT), handset acquisition and logistics, as well as the call
centre and customer care. He also handles the regulatory aspects of the
company and, having led the initial formation of the company, has
played a significant role in its equity and debt fundraising efforts.
Prior to co-founding the rising wireless company, Lyons also co-founded
and was Executive Vice President of XM Satellite Radio Canada. There,
he was responsible for the launch of the business and regulatory
licensing process, customer operations and contractual relationships.
A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, Lyons' business background
includes working at Scotia Capital as an Interest Rate Derivatives
Trader and as Director of Operations for the Toronto 2008 Olympic Bid.
Outside the office, Lyons volunteers with several charities, including
sitting on the Board of Directors of ProAction Cops & Kids.
