TORONTO, April 21 /CNW/ - As a thank you to their teams' loyal and
supportive fans, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment will hold a free
public skate Saturday, April 23 at Air Canada Centre, on the same ice
that's home to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The public skate, which coincides with the Easter long weekend, will
take place between noon and 6 p.m. with the venue doors at Gate 1
opening at 11:30 a.m.. Each skate session will be 30 minutes with the
first one starting at noon and the last one at 5:30 p.m.
Skaters are asked to line up at Air Canada Centre for wrist bands that
will only be distributed the day of the skate. A maximum of 250 skaters
will be allowed on the ice at any given time. Participants must bring
their own skates, and CSA approved hockey helmets are mandatory for
children 12 years of age and under. Children without helmets will not be permitted onto the ice.
Maple Leaf Sport & Entertainment is one of North America's premier

increased in 2010 with the opening of Maple Leaf Square located on the
building's west side.
