Changes reinforce commitment to investing in core business
TORONTO, Sept. 7, 2011 /CNW/ - AGF Investments Inc. (AGF) today
announced key appointments within its organization to reflect the
firm's continued commitment to long-term investment management
Martin Hubbes is taking on the role of Executive Vice-President,
Investments, where he will oversee all of the firm's investment teams
in addition to his current role as CIO. A 20-year veteran at AGF,
Hubbes has played a pivotal role in building AGF's world-class
investment management organization. He steps into this role effective
December 1, 2011. Rob Badun, currently Executive Vice-President,
Investments, has announced he will be retiring effective November 30,
2011. During his five years at AGF, Badun has been instrumental in
developing AGF's institutional business as well providing oversight to
the investment management teams.
Effective October 1, 2011, in addition to his current mandates, Peter
Frost will join Caterina Prato in the management of AGF Canadian Stock
Fund, AGF Canadian Stock Class, AGF Canada Class and AGF Canada Fund.
Prato will also take on lead management of several of the firm's key
strategic Canadian equity accounts.
In addition, to further enhance the firm's research capabilities, Terri
Ellis joins as Head of North American Research. Ellis is a seasoned
investment industry professional with over 15 years of international
research experience. She joins AGF from an international asset
management firm where she established a top ranked research team.

Changes have also been announced within AGF International Advisors Co.
Ltd (AGFIA) based in Dublin, Ireland. After a distinguished career in
investment management and nearly 20 years at AGFIA, John Arnold,
Managing Director will be retiring from the firm effective October 31, 2011. Rory Flynn, currently Global Advisor, will take on the
role of Chief Investment Officer and Brian Brennan, currently
Vice-President, Institutional Sales, is adding the role of
