announce three pivotal developments in the growth of their national
advertising network. Heading up the list of seismic changes within the
company is the hire of media veteran, Andy Querin as president and
chief operating officer, effective immediately. Among Mr. Querin's many
significant business achievements, he is the former president of Zoom
Media Inc., where he rose from the position of vice-president, sales
and marketing and managing director - English Canada. He is also a past
board member of the Canadian Out-of-Home Measurement Bureau and the
Out-of-Home Marketing Association of Canada. Prior to his Out-of-Home
experience he was national revenue manager at CBC English TV.

A multi-million dollar makeover
The Company is also announcing the completion of a multi-million dollar
investment in its mirror advertising product upgrades. KB Media boasts

at 3,000 ad faces and growing -- a 600 per cent increase in just over a
year. Newest venues include high profile sites, Ontario Place, Powerade

The unique feature of KB Media's mirrors is a sensor that counts the
number of impressions and changes the image of the patron to a
colourful, digital advertisement, both as a still and motion image.
This major cash infusion will arm their specialized mirrors with the
latest in hi-tech sensors, polished chrome frames and high quality
glass, making for a cleaner, visually enhanced digital presentation and
the pinnacle of technology in the marketplace.

Research validates KB Media's image
In a just-published intercept study conducted in Chicago in January by
brand strategy consultants, Millward Brown Optimor, 900 respondents
confirmed that mirror advertising outperforms other display
advertisements in advertising recall. Unaided recall for mirror
advertising was shown to be 27 per cent higher and had a recall of 14
per cent, versus 11 per cent for other similar advertisements. Further,
83 per cent of consumers found mirror advertising appealing and 35 per
cent stated that it had a positive influence on their image of the
