TORONTO, Sept. 12, 2011 /CNW/ - PC Leader Tim Hudak announced he is
taking his campaign of anger, fear, envy and resentment one step
further. Instead of just fighting new Canadians - or "foreign workers"
to him - Hudak is taking on all "discriminatory" programs in Ontario.
A list of the casualties:
Nursing Graduate Job Guarantee - affirmative action job guarantee for
nurses that actively discriminates against doctors, orderlies,
radiologists and countless other medical staff;
Second Career - affirmative action for those who were laid off during
the recession and discriminates against new job-seekers who are looking
for the first time;
Apprenticeship Tax Credit - affirmative action for apprentices that
clearly discriminates against non-apprentices... it's right in the
Bridge Training Programs - clearly falls under the Hudak category of
"foreign workers" and needs to be abolished;
Summer Jobs Strategy - affirmative action for student jobs not only
discriminates against non-students, but think about people looking for
work in all the other seasons;
Targeted Initiative for Older Workers - affirmative action based on age
that discriminates against young workers in all four seasons;
And Hudak is not done yet. Wait until he sees the programs designed to
help Aboriginal youth.
Targeted programs to help grow our economy and create jobs have been
created by federal and provincial governments of all political
stripes. Because our goal should always be to leave no skill behind,
and have everyone reaching their full potential. Ontarians understand
that and want a Premier who does too.
Tim Hudak doesn't get it. He would take Ontario backwards and divide
us, only Ontario Liberals have the plan to keep Ontario moving forward.
