Hudak Fails Leadership Test - Refuses to Fire Candidates for Divisive Comments

TORONTO, Sept. 12, 2011 /CNW/ - Tim Hudak has failed another leadership test by refusing to fire two of his candidates for their divisive comments.

PC Peterborough candidate Alan Wilson said last week that he was only interested in "our own people."

And Burlington candidate McKenna wondered "when did we become for immigrants?"

We know that Hudak has spent time with both of these candidates since their comments. Why won't he come clean on what - if any - discussion he's had with them?

Because there are only two answers he can give. Either he didn't bring up their comments, which shows an appalling lack of leadership, or he embraces and endorses their views personally and sees them as representative of his leadership.

Hudak is showing that he is just about the politics of anger, fear, envy and resentment. By talking about "foreign workers" and "foreigners" Hudak opened the door for McKenna and Wilson. And with his lack of leadership, he's refusing to close it.

Hudak will only take Ontario backwards and divide us.  Only Ontario Liberals have a plan to keep Ontario moving forward, together.
