TORONTO, Nov. 11, 2011 /CNW/ - Hallmark Canada is helping a local high
school connect with Canadian troops in Afghanistan this Remembrance

Catholic High School in Sarnia, was inspired by the Everyday Heroes greeting cards, one of Hallmark Canada's many greeting card lines and, as a result,
asked his students to write letters to the Canadian troops now serving
"It is important for students to understand and appreciate all that our
soldiers - both past and present - have done for our country," said
Blake Morrison, grade 12 teacher at Saint Christopher Catholic High
School. "Sending these letters is a small but important gesture to
express our gratitude and ensure these men and women know their heroic
gestures have not gone unnoticed."
The Hallmark card collection, Everyday Heroes, features 28 designs to recognize personal heroes who have touched our
lives in some way. From Canadian RCMP to firefighters, doctors,
coaches and mentors, these cards are also meant to inspire and
encourage one another. There are six specific Canadian Military
