SUDBURY, ON, Feb. 2 /CNW/ - Felicia Fahey of Dowling has been named the
first Grand Prize Winner in the People For Corporate Tax Cuts WIN BIG!
Her entry, titled "Madge…doing her part", dramatically portrayed what
Felicia was prepared to do to raise the $500 she needs to pay her share
of Ontario's $2.4 billion dollar corporate tax cut.
At the award ceremony, Nuella Warkworth, President, Chair, CEO & COO of
People For Corporate Tax Cuts, said, "Felicia has bravely shown us how far
Ontarians are prepared to go to help their corporate cousins.
Somewhere, a corporate executive is sleeping better knowing that
Felicia and so many like her are contributing to his bonus."
Ms. Fahey appeared to be overcome by emotion when she received the $500
"Our bulldog Madge understood when we told her we were going to delay
her eye surgery so we could pay our share of the corporate tax cuts,"
she said. "But with this prize we can pay our share and fix Madge too!
It's a godsend."
Madge suffers from "cherry eye", an aesthetic condition that is not
dangerous or painful but can affect a dog's self-esteem.
Felicia Fahey is the store manager of the LCBO's Onaping Branch in
Greater Sudbury. She has worked at the LCBO for 13 years.

About People For Corporate Tax Cuts - http://www.peopleforcorporatetaxcuts.ca
People For Corporate Tax Cuts is a grassroots organization, founded in
2000 and led by Nuella Warkworth. Headquartered in Toronto with members
throughout Ontario, PFCTC's mission is to advocate for ever more
generous corporate tax cuts. The organization has been very successful as Ontario's corporate tax
rates have fallen significantly in the last decade. A 2010 study by the
KPMG consulting firm shows that Ontario has much lower business taxes
than the United States and our key competitors.
