TORONTO, Nov. 14, 2011 /CNW/ - On Sunday, November 20, in addition to
regular Sunday service, GO Transit will run extra trains along the
Lakeshore East and West lines as well as special train service on the
Barrie line for the annual Santa Claus parade in downtown Toronto.
For Lakeshore East line passengers, GO will run one extra Toronto-bound
train making all stops to Union Station departing Oshawa at 10:11 a.m.,
and one extra homebound train making all stops to Oshawa departing
Union at 4:43 p.m.
Along the Lakeshore West line, GO will run one extra Toronto-bound train
making all stops to Union Station departing Aldershot at 10:34 a.m.,
and one extra homebound train making all stops to Aldershot departing
Union at 4:13 p.m.
New this year, GO is offering GO Train service along the Barrie line for
the Santa Claus parade. There will be a special Toronto-bound train
making all stops to Union Station departing Barrie South at 9:52 a.m.,
and one homebound train making all stops to Barrie South departing
Union at 4:28 p.m. Passengers are reminded that route 65 Barrie-
Bradford GO Buses do not serve the East Gwillimbury, King City or
Maple, Rutherford on weekends.
The GO Group Pass is an easy way for the whole family to travel. Up to
