Garland Canada to feature top chefs at CRFA Show

TORONTO, Feb. 28 /CNW/ - A talented group of Canada's top chefs will share some of their finest recipes and dishes at the CRFA Show, thanks to Garland Canada and Manitowoc Foodservice. The seven Canadian chefs will be featured on stage during the show, which runs March 6-8 at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto.

Sunday, March 6
Jason Parsons, Executive Chef at Peller Estates and co-author of the new cookbook 3 Chefs - The Kitchen Men Cookbook, will appear on stage.
Chef Lynn Crawford will be cooking alongside her co-chef Lora Kirk, demonstrating some of the dishes they prepare daily at the new restaurant Ruby Watchco.

Monday, March 7
Watch for Michael Blackie, Executive Chef of the National Art Gallery in Ottawa, as well as Roger Mooking, Executive Chef/Celebrity Chef and host of the TV show "Everyday Exotic."

Tuesday, March 8
Gio Alonzi, Executive Chef of Terroni, will be on stage.

Appearing all three days is Chef Ray Bear of the Mix Fresh Kitchen. The moderator on Sunday and Monday is Kevin Brauch, familiar to many from the TV shows "The Thirsty Traveler" and "Iron Chef America."

The chefs will use a selection of new and innovative equipment from the Garland Canada product portfolio. The demonstrations and hands-on teaching will also feature the latest in cooking technologies from Garland Canada and Manitowoc Foodservice.

With over 1,200 exhibit booths and ongoing chef demos, seminars and events, the CRFA Show offers restaurant and hospitality owners, managers, chefs and executives a host of fresh ideas to help promote, grow and manage their business.
