1.WLC90-3, Wolf Lake Peninsula
73.5 feet 0.519oz gold, including 3.5 feet of 4.98oz gold from 104 to
177.5 feet. Being deepened below present depth of 250 feet.
2. LL93-01, Laundry Lake, Mackelcan Township
Intervals of copper, Sudbury Breccia and magnetic rock, from 400 feet to
bottom of drill hole at 4400 feet. Located 100 feet west of Laundry
Lake. Strongest magnetic structure in Wanopita anomaly, and indicated
source for mineralization. Proposing to drill 2500 foot deep hole in
3. CB 92-1 Cobalt Hill, Mackelcan Township
Minute inclusions of 4 varieties of nickel, 2 varieties of copper,
cobalt and gold, discovered in quartz veins in sedimentary rock,
discovered by studies of Dr. Eva Schandl and University of Toronto
Geological Dept. suggested it comes from a nearby mafic or ultramafic
intrusion. W.A. (Bill) Morris, McMaster University discovered a
nearby, very strong magnetic anomaly. Strength had to be caused by a
mafic or ultramafic intrusion. The depth ideated to the alteration
zone outlined by Dr. Eva Schandl. Drilling proposed to find the rich
suggested mafic or ultramafic source.
