TORONTO, Sept. 1, 2011 /CNW/ - eHealth Ontario President and CEO Greg A.
Reed announced today that Robert Mitchell will be joining eHealth
Ontario as Vice-President of Communications and Stakeholder Relations
effective September 6, 2011.
Mr. Mitchell has an extensive background in government and
communications having served as Director of Communications, Strategic
Planning in the Office of Premier Ernie Eves and as Senior Media
Advisor to Premier Mike Harris. Mr. Mitchell also worked in the
Ministry of Finance as Director of Communications and Corporate
Affairs. In addition, Mr. Mitchell has held various communications
roles in the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and the Ministry of
Energy. Mr. Mitchell recently served as Director of Industry and
Government Relations at Tarion Warranty Corporation, a delegated
administrative authority of the provincial government.
Mr. Mitchell has a background in journalism and has worked for the
Toronto Sun, the CBC and recently as a freelance columnist for the

eHealth Ontario is the organization responsible for implementing the
government's eHealth agenda and creating an electronic health record
for all Ontarians by 2015.
