MONTREAL, June 15, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - Century-old Canadian arts and
crafts retail chain DeSerres is opening a new store—its 27th in Canada
and 17th in Quebec—in Vaudreuil in November 2011. This 1.5 million
dollar plus investment by the Quebec company will create some 20 jobs
in the sector. The store opening is part of the company's expansion
plan, with other important investment announcements soon to follow.
Opening the new store marks a major turning point for the company. The
store will feature a brand new concept—a more open and modern space to
better showcase the wide range of products sold at DeSerres stores
across Canada and online at DESERRES.CA.
President Marc DeSerres explains, "Not only will our new store concept
fuel creativity, it will allow customers to discover our amazing
selection of products that will help them express that creativity.
Everyone needs to express themselves in their own way and we hope the
new store will be a place where the people of Vaudreuil go to get
inspired and find unique products that will give life to their ideas."
