Dashboard brings The Grid online

TORONTO, May 17 /CNW/ - Dashboard tapped to design and develop new Toronto weekly newspaper  website.

A mere six weeks ago Dashboard was approached by the team rebranding Eye Weekly, now known as The Grid, to help bring their new vision for the iconic Toronto weekly newspaper to life online.

Working closely with The Grid's branding agency Rethink, and The Grid's internal creative team, Dashboard designed and developed a brand new online experience for the newspaper. The site gives users neighborhood centric tools and content, creating a hyper local experience through social media.

TheGridTO.com will feature street level/real time reporting through on-site social media integration, capturing the power of grassroots content generation throughout the site.  "We were able to take the new direction of the paper and really blow it out in an online environment. The design was kept very simple and flexible, building off of the new brand elements and paper layout." - Chris Obergfell Sr. Art Director, Dashboard.
