CPA Ontario launches new provincial magazine - driving discussion and analysis

TORONTO, Sept. 24, 2014 /CNW/ - The Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) is pleased to launch the first integrated provincial magazine of its kind, entitled D&A Magazine. D&A Magazine is designed to support Chartered Professional Accountants (CPAs) and speak to issues related to the accounting profession in Ontario, with the mandate to drive awareness of both the discussion (dialogue and disclosure) and analysis (insight and expertise) sides of accounting and finance at home and around the world.

"CPA Ontario - the new unified accounting body with a membership of more than 80,000 CPAs and 20,000 students - carries a strong voice within the profession, one that required a unified publication," said Colin Ellis, editor, D&A Magazine.

"The integrated editorial content supports its title: if the story is about leadership, it falls to discussion; if it's about global finance and accounting matters, its analysis," continues Ellis. "D&A Magazine presents balanced editorial insight with forward-looking orientation as a vehicle to facilitate discussion and analysis for the accounting profession."

The publication is a valuable resource featuring accounting and financial subject-matter experts and pertinent industry issues spanning technology, management, leadership, governance, professional development, human resources, branding and more.

D&A Magazine is also the perfect vehicle for advertisers who want to reach Ontario's business leaders in the accounting and finance sectors. Published six times a year, it is distributed to more than 80,000 CPAs across Ontario as well as stakeholders in academia, government, and the private and public sectors.

The September/October issue includes the following articles and departments as:
