organization to open the new Highway 25 bridge to traffc on May 20th, more than a month ahead of schedule.
Anxiously awaited, this highway link between the eastern part of
Montreal and the northern crown of the Greater Montreal Area will
greatly enhance the Quebec road network by facilitating traffc fow for
thousands of users.
The completion of Highway 25 consists of a four-lane highway link
between Henri-Bourassa Boulevard in Montreal and Highway 440 in Laval,
for a total length of 7.2 km. It includes a 1.2-km six-lane fully
electronic toll bridge over Rivière des Prairies as well as a free
multi-use path for cyclists and pedestrians.
With this new infrastructure opening shortly, future users are invited
to open their account and request a transponder, which represents the
