MISSISSAUGA, ON, Nov. 10, 2011 /CNW/ - This fall, BASF Canada is helping
growers push their canola crops to new heights with a limited time
offer on Headline fungicide. Now through to December 31, canola growers
who order Headline on matching acres of InVigor® or Roundup Ready® canola will receive a $1/acre rebate on their total purchase of
"This is a unique opportunity for InVigor and Roundup Ready canola
growers to try Headline and maximize their return per acre," says Mark
Kuchuran, Fungicide Brand Manager at BASF Canada. "In tightened canola
rotations the control of blackleg and alternaria black spot with
Headline are reason enough to try it. Combine that with our AgCelence
benefits in canola and a great yield advantage, it's clear that this
offer is too good to pass up."
Recently registered on canola, Headline was found to be extremely
successful at increasing yields at the herbicide timing in 2011.
Results show an average yield increase of 3 to 4 bu/acre over the
untreated, due to exceptional control of blackleg and the added
benefits of AgCelence producing greener leaves, stronger stems and
overall higher yields.
Grower rewards for the Headline in canola fall offer are calculated on a
per acre basis after a minimum purchase of 80 acres of Headline.
Growers are rewarded based on matching acres of Headline and
non-Clearfield canola. Orders for Headline must be received by December
31, 2011, and purchased by October 31, 2012.
The Headline in canola fall offer cannot be combined with any other BASF
offer, including the AgSolutions Reward Program or the Clearfield
Canola Early Offer. For more information about Headline on canola,
