VANCOUVER, Feb. 11 /CNW/ - Canadian International Mineral Inc. (CIN -
TSX.V) is pleased to announce that, subject to the acceptance of the
TSX Venture Exchange, it has acquired a 100% interest in certain
mineral claims located in the Thunder Bay Mining Division, Ontario,
known as the Dead Horse Creek Extension claims (the "Property").
The Property consists of 218 mineral claims in 8 claim blocks covering
1,861 hectares in Grain and Walsh Townships. The property directly
adjoins the company's Deadhorse Creek property and covers favorable
geophysical features and geology to host strategic metals such as
zirconium, hafnium and rare earths.
The Company will acquire the Property by issuing 250,000 common shares
upon TSX Venture Exchange acceptance of the transaction, and paying the
cost of staking, not to exceed $25,000.
The Company also announces that it has appointed Dr. Anthony E, Mariano
and Tony Mariano, Jr. to its Technical Advisory Board.
Dr. Anthony N. Mariano is a mineral exploration geologist with over 50
years of experience in the field and in the laboratory with major
emphasis on the REEs, Nb, and Ta. His strength is in economic
evalu-ation and ranking of deposits containing these commodities.
Tony Mariano Jr. is an exploration geologist with over two decades of
broad experience in rare earths and precious metals, as well as
environmental issues, who has recenly returned to consulting in support
of his father's worldwide consultancy.
