and its partner TRACIP are pleased to announce the end of the first
phase of the deployment of a few dozen "LACE" Servers to the French
Internal Security Forces.
These "LACE" Servers, deployed in all regions of France, will allow
specialized units of Cyber-Gendarmes (NTECH) engaged in the fight
against online child exploitation to depend on a powerful computer
forensic tool to automate the sorting and categorization of confiscated
pictures and movies. In this field of work, confiscated computer
material often contains well over one million images and tens of
thousands of digital videos.
Automation, based on Bluebear's image matching technology, will allow
the cyber-gendarmes and forensic specialists to drastically reduce the
delays to review the confiscated material, improve productivity and
help protect the analysts against repeated exposition to this very
Furthermore, TRACIP and Bluebear LES will, in the next weeks, continue
their efforts to complete the deployment of "LACE" Servers in France;
now with the specialised units of the French National Police.
